The Boss RPS-10 is a 1/3-rack delay and (monophonic) pitch shifting effects unit from the earlier days of digital processing and is capable of some very strange & lo-fi sounds.

In delay mode the RPS-10 can provide 25-800ms delay time, and is also capable of reverse delay (INV mode). In pitch shift mode the RPS-10 will shift pitch up to -1 or +1 octave. It applies the pitch shift to your delayed signal (set mix to 100% wet for pure pitch shift) and can shift its own delay over and over with higher feedback settings.

The rear panel holds the RPS-10's best secrets - Keyboard Control (an audio input that defines how far the pitch is shifted in real time, allowing you to sequence or play the shifted signal), Tuner Out (outputs a sine wave indicating the level of pitch shift), Effect Remote (connect a footswitch to remotely turn the effect on or off) and Hold (connect a footswitch to freeze sounds indefinitely!)
